I was honored to have been asked to paint the portrait of Sirius , the yellow Labrador Retriever Bomb Detection Dog who perished in the World Trade Center on 09/11/01 after the terrorist attacks. I actually painted two portraits... the original watercolor, "Salute to Sirius" was donated on April 24th , 2002 to his handler, David Lim , and the oil painting was given to the NYNJ PAPD in the memorial ceremony at Liberty Park, NJ. If you are interested in having a print of this image , you can click on this link to purchase : prints of the Salute to Sirius painting . The paper size is 19x23 1/2" and the image measures 16x20". This is a limited edition of 500 signed and numbered prints. The cost , including priority mail shipping, is $83.00

100% of the profit from the sale of the prints will be divided evenly among the following 3 charities:

* Port Authority Police K9 Unit of New York New Jersey
* The NASAR Search and Rescue Dog Training Fund
* Southwest Pennsylvania Retriever Rescue Organization (SPARRO)
