Thank you for your decision to order a portrait (or print below). You will not be disappointed. For the best result, contact me by email at debbie@stonebrakerart.com to discuss your custom artwork. You can also send your clear, close-up reference photo(s) to my email, or by snail mail if you prefer. Photos will be returned The best photos make the best portraits. If I can see the details, I can add them to the portrait. Please send photos taken outside in the morning or early evening for the optimum lighting on your pet. Photos taken inside using a flash do not make great portraits. Dogs hate flashes, and will soon learn to shy away from the camera. Always take your shots outside.
I am offering my most popular portrait, size 9x12" in either Colored Pencil on Ultrasuede Matboard, or Watercolor on 140lb Arches Paper for $300 each, one dog only. Larger sizes and multi pet portraits are available, contact me to discuss. I require a 50% down deposit, with the balance due on approval of the final art by email. I will send updates by email on your portrait progress, if desired. I will cover the shipping by USPS Priority Mail to the lower 48, you will need to pay for shipping overseas or to Alaska or Hawaii. Portraits are unframed, so that you may make your own framing decisions to match your decor and style.
Most portraits take from 3-6 weeks to complete, depending on the time of year. I do get a lot busier from September through Christmas, so please plan ahead if you need a portrait by a specific date. I will do everything I can to help you meet your deadlines.
Copyright info. . . .I will retain copyright on the artwork I create from your photos. These artworks will be used on prints and other products for sale, including shirts, mugs, mousepads, jewelry, glass cutting boards, counted cross-stitch patterns, and more fun things as I find them.
***Even though I do own copyright on the artwork, if you would rather that I don't market the image, I will honor that request. 99% of my clients are thrilled to be able to purchase their dog's image on products and prints, and to share them with other dog people.
